CareMessage holds patents for certain technologies and innovations that form the foundation of our health tech solutions. These patents are critical to advancing our mission of improving health equity through technology. Patent Ownership
CareMessage holds exclusive rights to the following patented technologies and processes (collectively, the “Patents”).
The Patents protect our proprietary systems, methods, and technologies and ensure their ethical and effective application. This technology has been built on our innovative approach to delivering interactive text message based coaching programs, where a user enrolled in a campaign interacts with a server to obtain guidance on performing a set of tasks of the campaign to achieve a health goal.

Permitted Usage
You may not use or reproduce CareMessage’s patented technologies without express written authorization, except under the following circumstances:

CareMessage Copyright Notice and Usage Policy
CareMessage regularly develops a variety of content for the purposes of providing healthcare education and behavior coaching. The content, design, and materials provided are protected by copyright law and owned or licensed by CareMessage. This includes, but is not limited to, text (eg. sample text messages), graphics, images, logos, videos, software, and other materials (collectively, the “Content”).
Copyright Ownership
- Owner: All Content shared via this website, our web based application, or through additional means of distribution (eg. PDFs) is owned by CareMessage and is protected under U.S. and international copyright laws.
- Scope: This protection extends to all original works created, published, or displayed including our proprietary systems, educational materials, message libraries, and software features.
Permitted Usage
For the public, you may access and use the Content for personal, non-commercial purposes under the following conditions:
- Unaltered Use: You may view, download, or print materials for personal use, provided you do not modify or alter them.
- Attribution: When using Content for educational or informational purposes, you must provide appropriate credit to CareMessage as the copyright owner.
For CareMessage customers, included in your subscription service is the right to use our copyrighted materials during the duration of your service. This is subject to the Intellectual Property clauses in the CareMessage Master Subscription Agreement (MSA) with your organization.

- Reproduction or Distribution: Copying, reproducing, or redistributing the Content in any form, for commercial or non-commercial purposes.
- Derivative Works: Creating adaptations, modifications, or derivative works based on the Content.

- Commercial Use: Using the Content for advertising, marketing, or any for-profit activities.
CareMessage customers are explicitly prohibited from reusing content created by CareMessage, or any derivative works, on any other platform.
