Hello CareMessage 2.0
CareMessage was founded to empower healthcare organizations with mobile technologies to improve health literacy and self-health management while fostering more efficient care delivery. Although our product has changed over time, our mission and commitment to our work remains the same.
Since releasing our product, our customers have added over 1 million patients to CareMessage and are exchanging over 1 million messages per month. From appointment reminders to health education programs, these messages have impacted the lives of thousands of patients across the United States.
As we look back at all we have accomplished we’ve seen countless opportunities for improvement. From redesigning the end-to-end customer experience to our core product, this year we have been working on building a strong foundation for the growth to come. Today we are announcing CareMessage 2.0!
What’s next for our organization?

- Redesigned website, documentation and associated CareMessage materials to reflect our focused commitment to Make Underserved Populations Healthier.
- Transparency on patient outcomes driven by our product, directly from our customers. We believe the scale of our product is only important when we focus on data-driven outcomes for the healthcare organizations we work with.
- Showcase CareMessage’s team and our core values: Collaboration, Empathy, Execution, Diversity and Trust. Meet our team and follow their adventures on our new Instagram page.
What’s next for our product?
- Redesigned web application based on customer feedback. CareMessage 2.0 keeps the core functionalities that have enabled our customers to add over 1 million patients and will make it even easier and faster to use.
- We will stop making enhancements to v.1 of our product and will be transitioning customers to CareMessage 2.0 in phases. The first group will start January 2017. Account managers will be in touch with customers about when they are scheduled to transition to the new version of our product.
- Due to low utilization, event reminders and surveys will be retired and will no longer be supported after February 1, 2017.
